The main research direction of the school is the frontier theory and method of information science and technology and its application in people's daily life, network communication and network security.

Information security technology mainly includes: application password technology; information hiding and confidential communication; identity authentication technology; information copyright protection; network and system security technology; secure database technology; e-government and e-commerce security technology; multimedia information security technology, etc.

3. Information and control: random signal processing, robust filtering and application, power control of wireless communication system, engineering optimization and application, linear time-delay system.
