The Mobile Internet and Cloud Computing Research Center of HITSZ was established in 2013. The director of this center is Professor Xiaohua Jia (Distinguished Professor of Thousand Talents Program, IEEE fellow, ACM Distinguished Scientist). There are 5 full-time teachers in our research center, including 2 professors (Doctoral Supervisors), 2 associate professors (Doctoral Supervisors) and 1 assistant professor. We also have 3 part-time professors. Until now, there have been more than 100 master students and PhD students graduated from our center, mainly working in domestic well-known Internet and IT enterprises, as well as 211, 985 and other key universities.

The research center focuses on mobile Internet, cloud computing and information security, including wireless network (Mesh network, sensor network, ad hoc network, next generation network, etc.); cloud computing, edge computing, cloud storage security; blockchain, chaos theory, multimedia information security, searchable encryption, intelligent supply chain (intelligent inventory, dynamic distribution, multi-objective path planning, etc.), combinatorial optimization algorithm design and other related fields.

Until now, the research center has presided and completed 2 sub-projects of National Key R & D Plan, 1 key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 7 general funds, 3 youth funds, and many science and technology innovation foundation from of the ministry, province and Shenzhen government. As key members, we participate projects including 863 Key Projects, National Key Science and Technology Projects, Shenzhen Key Laboratory and several municipal key projects. More than 300 SCI / EI papers have been published in academic journals and conferences, including 6 highly cited papers. Besides, there have been 2 academic monographs published and 4 patents authorized. In our center, some teachers have won the First Prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education, First Prize of Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province, and Science and Technology Innovation Award of Shenzhen, and so on.

At present, the research center has carried out a variety of research work facing International frontier topics and national major needs. We also maintained extensive academic exchanges and close cooperation with well-known scientific research institutions and enterprises at home and abroad. The cooperative partners include: University of Texas Dallas, University of Toronto in Canada, INRIA in France, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Huawei, Tencent, SF-express and other domestic well-known enterprises. All teachers and students of our research center will continue to devote efforts to promote the theoretical research, practical application and high-end talent training of computer science.
