On September 11, 2020, China Merchants Securities-Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) Joint Laboratory was formally established in the China Merchants Securities Building, and the launch ceremony of the first batch of projects was held. The laboratory is the first financial technology joint laboratory established by Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and a top domestic securities company. Professor Ruifeng Xu, from the School of Computer Science and Technology of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), and Zhixin Lu, vice president of China Merchants Securities Technology Innovation Office, jointly serve as laboratory directors. The joint laboratory will focus on in-depth research in the areas of financial information cognitive intelligence and financial information decision intelligence.
